The Bond film franchise, based on Ian Flemming's novels turned 50 last year. What's your favorite installment in the iconic series? Personally, mine's GoldenEye, largely because of the nostalgia attached with it, and because the plot, acting, story and Pierce Brosnan were all fantastic. It proved that Bond can still kick ass and take names even after the Cold War. I will say though that either "Goldfinger" or "From Russia With Love" is probably the best in terms of the most iconic and the best put-together film. Let's not kid ourselves, Connery's Bond is what made that role iconic, and he's by far (I think) the best Bond. I want to take this opportunity give some love to "On Her Majesty's Secret Service" and George Lazenby though, because, for being the second-longest Bond film thus far, it really doesn't feel like it at all. Plus, I don't think any other Bond film has straight up gut-kicked me the way this one does. No spoilers though Go and watch it!
