Daft Punk: Thoughts?

As many of you may know, the music duo known as "Daft Punk" won the album of the year award at the Grammys. I had never even heard of these guys before prior to this week. I'm usually not one for modern-day pop music. I think most of it is complete and utter garbage. However, I decided to give DP's latest album a listen and I actually was pleasantly surprised. The group is labeled under "House techno pop" but I think it sounds like old-style soul music with some Electronic elements. I've ended up buying four songs off the album that I ended up liking.
